CDA OFFICES

CDA moved to its new offices on the 7th floor of the Commerce Tower at the corner of Pine and 2nd Streets in the heart of downtown Harrisburg in early 2016. The space is defined by impressive views to the north and south and is washed with natural daylight. The architectural changes to the previously vanilla office space include a gallery display wall separating the main studio space from the storage/support space. The exposed concrete waffle slab above the studio and custom maple millwork create zones in the studio for work stations, a conference room, and an open office. The connected open office approach was extended to a new floor-to-ceiling slot window at the east end of the core’s elevator lobby, introducing a slice of daylight to this previously entirely introverted space while also providing a glimpse of the activity within CDA’s studio.
